Bonded Plate Heat Exchanger

The AF bonded plate heat exchanger is the first of its kind with an in-built  safety feature to detect leakages between the two process fluids. This patented design incorporates a leakage  detection port that is used to monitor any leakages within the unit, thus detecting any failure before mixing occurs, dramatically reducing the risk of  any serious incident.

The diffusion bonded heat exchanger is constructed from a number of plates for the primary and secondary process fluids, and leakage plates for leakage detection. The plates are bonded together using the diffusion bonding  process, which is an extremely robust and reliable production method. The complete bonding of the plates allows for extreme processes with very high pressures, or very high or very low temperatures.
